Clark County seeks applications for homeless, anti-poverty programs

first_imgClark County Community Services is accepting funding applications for 2019 services addressing homelessness and anti-poverty programs that help people become self-sufficient.About $1.5 million is available for Homeless Crisis Response System services dealing with permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, targeted prevention assistance, interim housing, and outreach and engagement, as well as the established Rent Well and SOAR programs.Another $390,000 can go toward Community Action anti-poverty programs addressing health, behavioral and social health, income and asset building, employment, education and support services.Contracts will begin July 1, 2019.Pre-applications are online at www.clark.wa.gov/community-services/applications.
