first_imgDonegal hurlers put in a solid display of hurling to make it two wins on the trot after accounting for Tyrone at Healy Park this afternoon.Played in freezing conditions, Ray Durack’s men chipped away at point after point to eventually win 0-9 to 0-14.The visitors went in ahead at the break 0-7 to 0-5 ahead despite Tyrone pressing ahead with two early points. Donegal continued to point through the likes of Lee Henderson and Cullen and went 0-11 to 0-8 ahead. If there was any chance of Tyrone responding then Donegal snuffed it out with a series of scores as they raced towards the final whistle courtesy of Paul Sheridan and Enda McDermott.Ray Durack said after his side’s recent win over Monaghan that they did not fear Tyrone. This afternoon he proved why and the team deserve great credit. Tyrone replied with a Damien Casey point. In the dying minutes Donegal went into scoring overdrive with a rapid fire succession of scores from Paul Sheridan, Enda McDermott and Sheridan again to leave the visitors running out victors by a score line of 0-14 to 0-09.
