An interesting article in Sports Illustrated listed the 30th edition of an Air Jordan shoe. It is called the AJXXX version. What was interesting to the writer of this article was the doodle that the designer Tinker Hatfield placed on the back of the shoe. I won’t even try to describe what it is. Even though it has been 13 years since Michael Jordan has played a game, he is still hands-on as far as the design and manufacture of this shoe.Every high school kid would love to wear one of these, I am sure. I have not tried to buy a pair of these, but I understand they are quite expensive. If you are a pro or college team, you work out a deal with the Nike equipment company to furnish your uniforms and equipment. As far as I know, most high schools still have to buy theirs and I am sure that the cost of these shoes goes to the families of the players. In 2014 2.6 billion dollars worth of Nike Air Jordan’s were sold.I would think that in the near future we might see a Stephen Curry shoe come on the market.
