Warangal: Warangal Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil emphasised the need for focusing on land record upgradation and purification (LRUP), targeted at improving documentation of rural land records, in villages where ‘Sada Bainama’ applications are pending for clearance. Conducting a review meeting with the officials here on Friday, the Collector told them to speed up the exercise of land records purification. “Unless the administration issues e-Pattadar Passbooks to all the land holders, the very concept of the programme is not achieved,” Patil said. The Collector warned the officials of stern action if they fail to achieve desired results. Further, he told them to show the progress in a week. Joint Collector S Dayanand, DRO P Mohan Lal, RDO Venka Reddy, Survey Lands AD L Prabhakar, e-District Manager Sridhar and Collectorate Superintendent Laxman were among others present.
