On New Year’s Eve, The String Cheese Incident returned to Broomfield, CO’s 1STBANK Center to close out their three-night New Year’s run with a stellar three-set grand finale. The band crushed it their first two shows of the run, highlighted by some standout collaborative moments with fiddle masters Sam Bush and Darol Anger, followed by Robert Randolph, Ivan Neville, Ian Neville, and Tony Hall the following night.Following two rowdy sets of bluegrass and raw rock and roll, The String Cheese Incident came back onstage with 15 minutes left of 2018, as Bill Nershi initiated a “Group Hoot”, inviting the crowd to yell at the top of their lungs for a good minute. The band moved forward with “Colliding”, a perfect selection to ramp up the energy heading into 2019. NFL players take to Twitter to congratulate Rob Gronkowski after retirement announcement Tom Brady praised Rob Gronkowski shortly after the star tight end announced his retirement.The 29-year-old Gronkowski posted to Instagram Sunday he was stepping away from the field after nine seasons with the Patriots. “Love u man!!!” the longtime Patriots quarterback wrote. “The (G.O.A.T)!! Couldn’t be a better person or teammate.” “It’s time to move forward and move forward with a big smile on my face knowing that the New England Patriots organization, Pats nation and all my fans will truly be a big part of my heart for the rest of my life,” Gronkowski’s message read in part. “It was truly an incredible honor to play for such a great, established organization.”Brady quickly responded to Gronkowski.
