ROY KEANE SAYS MANCHESTER UNITED SHOULD SIGN SEAMUS COLEMAN

first_imgRoy Keane says Manchester United should sign Seamus Coleman.Roy Keane believes Manchester United need three new signings and has identified Seamus Coleman as being one of them. The former Manchester United legend has worked closely with Coleman since being appointed assistant manager to Marin O’Neil in the Republic of Ireland set-up.He realises how good a player Coleman is and at a fundraiser in Waterford said United should sign him. Keane believes Coleman is the perfect fit for United and would slot in perfectly at right-back, a position which has been problematic for United over the last number of years.Keane said, “I think United need a centre half and midfielder and Seamus Coleman for right back,’ Keane said.‘I think that United should sign Paul Pogba for they need a presence and physical player in midfield.“Pogba knows the league, is big and strong and is playing brilliantly for Juventus. “People say United can’t get Pogba but they should try’.ROY KEANE SAYS MANCHESTER UNITED SHOULD SIGN SEAMUS COLEMAN was last modified: March 13th, 2015 by Mark ForkerShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:newsRoy Keaneseamus colemansoccerSportlast_img read more

Naomh Muire denied win against Malin after goal is controversially disallowed

first_imgGAA: Naomh Muire are feeling aggrieved this evening after a second-half goal which was initially awarded by the referee, was then controversially ruled out by the umpire. With game all square at the time, and nothing between the sides – it would’ve been a huge score for Eamon O’Boyle’s side, but the umpire instructed referee Martin Coll to rule it out, which was met by dismay from Naomh Muire players. In truth, a draw was a fair result as these two teams served up an entertaining game of football in glorious conditions at The Banks. A first-half goal from Paddy McCafferty got Naomh Muire up and running, but Malin hit back with a remarkable team goal involving several players. It was as good a goal as you’ll likely to see in this year’s Donegal SFC.Naomh Muire were lively though, and were more ruthless in front of the posts and led by two points at the interval. In the second-half both teams exchanged scores, with Jack Boyle, Sean ‘Point’ Gallagher and Paddy McCafferty performing well for the hosts. The Malin charge was being led by the inspirational Brendan McLaughlin who scored a succession of fantastic points to edge Malin in front. It took a late, late point from Jack Boyle to ensure the hosts earned a deserved share of the spoils. However, after the final whistle some Naomh Muire players were fuming, after what they deemed as a perfectly good goal was sensationally disallowed by the umpire.Naomh Muire and Malin are now both on three points at the top of the group.Malin host Glenfin next weekend, while Naomh Muire know if they can avoid defeat away to Mac Cumhaills that will ensure their passage to the last eight.
