Relix To Bring Industry Professionals Together For Inaugural Live Music Conference

first_imgRelix has announced their first-ever Live Music Conference, set to take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York. The one-day event will bring the leading figures in today’s industry to shed light on the fast-paced and ever-changing live music business. The Relix Live Music Conference will feature panels and discussions covering subjects related to venues, festivals, publicity and management, presentations on technology and non-profits, plus a keynote with two of live music’s most legendary promoters. Thompson signs NLI to Fairfield

first_imgTOWN OF FENTON (WBNG) — Chenango Valley senior Rory Thompson signed his national letter of intent to play lacrosse at Fairfield University. Thompson called playing a division one sport a “dream come true.” “I’ve been waiting for this moment, literally for my entire life,” he said. “I think it was second grade, first grade was when I decided I wanted to play division one sports.” Thompson said the lacrosse team and coaches at Fairfield were what sold him. He said his goal after college is to become a lacrosse coach. Thompson also plays football. He said he always thought he’d end up playing football in college, but playing on a travel lacrosse team in 8th grade changed his perspective. center_img Thompson is an Under Armour All-American, was named to the first-team all-division lacrosse team twice, and was a four-year starter on the varsity team. For football, Thompson was given all-state and all-division honors. “I was discovered by a travel coach, and he told me to come play and I ended up choosing to play with him and it made me way better. Coach Bob Street in Corning, New York. He changed my life, changed my lacrosse, taught me so much about everything,” said Thompson. “When I got there, the first thing I noticed was coaches energy,” he said. They were amazing, probably some of the nicest and coolest people I’ve ever met. Met a couple of the guys, and the campus was beautiful so that’s where I decided to go.”last_img read more

The Handball National Team of BiH won against Switzerland in St. Gallen

first_imgThe Handball National Team of BiH celebrated in qualifiers for the World Cup that will be played in Germany and Denmark in 2019. They won against the National Team of Switzerland in St. Gallen with the score 24:21.Our national team was better at the opening of the match and after just three minutes, Vegar and Vranjes scored two goals (2: 0). Swiss team scored their first goal in the fifth minute of the match. Von Deschwanden was the most eager in the ranks of Swiss team at the opening of the match, and after 12 minutes, the result was 4: 4.We managed to get the advantage in the first half of the match with the score 7: 6, but the opponents scored two goals just ten minutes before the end of the first half (10: 8). They defended their advantage until the end of the first half. However, we managed to equalize the score with goals of Vranjes and Ovcina, and we went on the break with the score 12:12.We had two goals of advantage just ten minutes before the end of the match. Tarabochi scored and brought a great advantage to our team. There were no goals in the next five minutes of the match. Marco Tarabochi scored three goals just four minutes before the end of the match. Two minutes before the end we came to a plus three (23:20). We managed to preserve our advantage and celebrated with the result 24:21.The most effective player in the ranks of our national team was Marin Vegar with six goals.
