Hello and welcome to the LIVE coverage from Match 56 of the Indian Premier League between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Raipur. (Scorecard )HIGHLIGHTS: Royal Challengers Bangalore Innings:23.40 IST: QUOTES!Virat Kohli: Honestly, those stats have mostly reached me through images but I choose not to look at it. Every game is an opportunity to win it for your team. We were at No. 7 position in the table, an impossible situation, and now we have two chances at the final, having finished at No. 2. I tried to make the most of my batting form and take the team through. Our focus has paid off. It’s not easy but you have to start afresh every day. I know it sounds boring and traditional but it has to be boring. Every day has to be made use of, if you are a sportsman at this level. I am extra motivated when I come on to the field and make sure I work hard off the field as well. It’s very important to not get rude or arrogant about your form or about how you strike the ball. There will be a few incidents, people will have a go at you on the field, but after the chat is done, you have to get back to the basics. There is a very thin line between overconfidence and being calm about your skill. After the Australia series this year, I felt that people have come up to me and genuinely want me to do well. I play my heart out for the country and for the team I am playing for right now. Batting has done well but the bowlers – the wicket was worth more than 130 odd. It was a good track but we were cautious while chasing such a small target. Easily 160 par wicket. You can tend to get carried away, thinking that we won the toss, the batting is doing well but we conceded very few runs in the last few overs. Everyone was keen in the changing room to stand up and say that he’s going to be the guy who’s going to do it tonight. The support has been wonderful wherever we played and we heard RCB’s chants here too in Raipur. Will happen when you have two of the world’s most loved cricketers in de Villiers and Gayle in the team. They should get the Indian citizenship.advertisementZaheer Khan: Wonderful campaign. On the whole, we played good cricket. Some days you play good, some days bad. Youngsters learnt a lot, tremendous potential there. We gave a tough time to all the sides. Playoff should have been fantastic but we are happy. 160 would have been defendable on this big ground. We needed early breakthroughs. Kohli is good at absorbing the pressure. We bowled well but Virat is in a very good form and we were 15-20 runs short. The team has young guys and odd days will be like this. We have given them the freedom. One partnership was critical and we couldn’t get going in that. A big game this was, pressure game. I haven’t really thought about it (my future). Have enjoyed my time with the youngsters and trying to pass my knowledge to them. Still enjoying and will see. 23.18 IST: That’s it! RCB have one change, Iqbal Abdulla replaces Varun Aaron, while DD bring in Sam Billings and Chris Morris. News coming in that Kolkata Knight Riders have made the playoffs after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 22 runs. How can DD and RCB qualify: Delhi Daredevils have to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore and that is their only option with not so good net run rate. If Knight Riders win, they will be tied on 16 points with Sunrisers and the winner of this game will seal the remaining playoff berth. In other words, Delhi have to win and got no other choice. While Bangalore will go through if they win irrespective of the result in the ongoing KKR vs SRH game. If they lose, Bangalore will still have a chance provided Sunrisers beat Knight Riders. Moreover, Bangalore also can’t afford to lose by huge margin. We are 45 minutes away from the toss as both teams clash in not so familiar conditions of Raipur. This being the last league game and a crucial one that will decide the team moving into the playoffs. What incredible view on the way to the ground tonight in Raipur. #beautifulindia pic.twitter.com/yp63vdRIcm&; Shane Watson (@ShaneRWatson33) May 22, 2016Preview: As the Indian Premier League (IPL) gears up for its business end, a confident Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will lock horns with a rejuvenated Delhi Daredevils for a virtual knock-out clash. On a roll after notching three consecutive wins, RCB are at the third spot with 14 points from 13 matches while Delhi have as many points but are placed sixth in the table, lagging behind the Virat Kohli-led side only in net run-rate.Two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians too have 14 points each with just one match to go in their league stage.Going into Sunday’s encounter, it will be a battle between RCB’s strong batting line-up, consisting of the dangerous trio of Kohli, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers and Delhi’s bowling led by the seasoned Zaheer Khan and Amit Mishra.Bangalore will once again bank on their skipper, who has turned into an epitome of consistency with the willow. The 27-year-old has not only smashed four tons to score 865 runs from 13 matches this edition but also surpassed Suresh Raina to be the highest run-getter in the lucrative tournament.Kohli, who defied a split webbing to notch his fourth century of the IPL, has lately found support from his opening partner Gayle. The West Indian power-hitter found his touch at the right juncture while South African de Villiers has been equally successful in destroying the opposition bowlers’ economy rates.Despite a poor start, RCB have pulled off four wins in the last five matches to be on the verge of a play-off spot and one more win should give them a passage from the league stage. On the other hand, coming back from a last ball thrilling win over Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi will depend heavily on their skipper Zaheer and senior legspinner Mishra to counter RCB’s batting prowess. The team’s success will also depend on allrounders Chris Morris and Carlos Brathwaite to not only restrict RCB’s fireworks but also chip in with the bat.
